Do you want to help the EUV Factory achieve its vision through Operational Excellence? The Lean team supports the EUV Factory (EF) organization towards Operational Excellence, because we believe it as a means to realize the Vision of the factory.
We are looking for two Lean Business Partners to support EUV Install and EF Engineering. As a trusted partner to department leadership and staff, you will guide Lean transformation, strengthen performance, and embed continuous improvement. The EUV Install role focuses on worldwide installation operations, while the EF Engineering role focuses on Engineering and its interface with Manufacturing.
Roles and responsibilities
We are hiring two Lean Business Partners: one supporting EUV Install and one supporting EF Engineering. Both roles develop Lean and Operational Excellence capabilities through training, coaching, and change leadership; drive business performance through A3s, 4Cs, and breakthrough initiatives; apply project and change management; and improve ASML’s Operational Excellence standards.
Role focus
EUV Install: Drive performance management, key process indicators, and operational improvements across worldwide installation activities.
EF Engineering: Lead Lean deployment within Engineering and strengthen the Engineering–Manufacturing interface. This role requires a strong understanding of Engineering’s contribution to manufacturing and the ability to work effectively across both functions.
Across both vacancies, in alignment with the accountable business manager, you will:
Develop Lean and Operational Excellence capabilities through training, coaching, and hands-on guidance.
Drive business performance through A3s, 4Cs, breakthrough initiatives, and structured problem solving.
Define Operational Excellence goals, success criteria, roles, ownership, and key indicators.
Lead strategy deployment, performance dialogues, and improvement plans with business stakeholders.
Track progress, remove roadblocks, and embed Lean behavior in daily operations.
As members of the OE/Lean team, both Lean Business Partners will:
Share progress, bottlenecks, and support needs across the Lean community.
Support colleagues, build shared expertise, and improve ASML Lean standards.
Challenge teams to apply Lean principles and improve daily operations.
Act as a proactive business partner and catalyst for sustainable change.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree.
Experience applying or deploying Lean and/or Operational Excellence.
Experience with continuous improvement methods, such as problem solving or Six Sigma, and change or project management.
Sound knowledge of Lean principles, change models, and flow in manufacturing.
Experience leading cultural and leadership change.
Strong facilitation, training, and coaching skills.
Experience at the Engineering–Manufacturing interface and an understanding of Engineering’s role in manufacturing or
Experience establishing performance management systems and key indicators.

The 20-FTE OE/Lean team brings broad Manufacturing, Quality, Lean, and Six Sigma experience from leading industries. The team shares a passion for helping others become a Lean organization.

For this position, the indicative (fixed) annual salary range is between 113,500 euro and 142,000 euro. This range comprises vacation allowance. Company variable pay is not included in this range. The actual compensation offered will depend on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: job-related skills, relevant education and (work) experience, certifications, demonstrated abilities of the candidate, pay relative to other team members.
