Senior Operations Support Manager

Job Mission:

“Overall Enables management of operation support, business planning, project & program and service business development of HMI China Program by driving and execution of related policies, processes and methodologies to secure effective decision making and best support HMI China Program sustainable operation excellence.”                                                                                                         

Job Responsibility:

• Roadmap operations long term strategies and connect to priorities for HMI China Program
• Drive operations Strategy to full execution in perspectives of time, cost, quality and efficiency
• Manage overall operation activities in effective and healthy way of working within HMI China Program
• Own HMI China Program dashboard/KPI’s in PM & programs, business development and secure all operation reporting, mechanism and follow-up (including management review)
• Provide HMI China Program overall operations guidance & communication, management advice, training, and coaching for management and staff
• Establish operation awareness initiatives that drive operation excellence
• Identify operations best practices and lead continuous improvement to reduce work process risks/low efficiency
• Monitor / control operations management mechanism like incident reporting, escalation process, project milestone and service business development opportunity definition in good shape
• Set up, empower and coach team to address adequacy and continuity during all operations activities

Qualification Requirement

• 10+ years working experience, operation management experience in high tech industry preferred
• Familiar with semi industry product, process and way of working
• Demonstrable experience with operation excellence culture in complex /high tech organizations
• Strong business acumen and customer orientation
• Strong leadership capability, 5+ year experience of managing managers preferred
• Solid capability to give direction, motivate and drive for excellence
• Highly motivated team leader with excellent social, coordination and communication skills in both Chinese/English
• Ability to think and act on a strategic level
• Independently scope, plan, manage, execute and control operation whilst driving this team to success 
• Nurtures the professional development of their team via coaching.
• Demonstrable experience with managing remote teams and multi functions
• Strong focus on excellent workmanship;

• Motivated, pro-active, self-driven and flexible
• Open for business travel in/out of China

Education

• Bachelor/Master degree in operations management, PM, business development or comparable in the direction of Mechanical, Electrical Engineer, Material Science or Physics and related major
