Job Description

Bosch Digital is the global IT organization of Bosch, delivering innovative digital solutions that support the transformation of manufacturing and logistics worldwide. Our teams develop and operate modern Industry 4.0 and Production IT systems that improve transparency, efficiency, and quality across Bosch plants. Join our team in Hungary and contribute to the implementation and operation of cutting-edge manufacturing solutions.

Your tasks:

► Implement and operate MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and traceability solutions across Bosch plants
► Install, configure, and maintain servers, databases, and container-based environments
► Support and enhance modern infrastructure platforms (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Elastic Stack)
► Design and implement technical solutions to meet production traceability requirements
► Collaborate closely with production and manufacturing teams to drive digitalization initiatives
► Develop and maintain basic automation and scripting solutions (e.g. PowerShell, Python)
► Provide technical support and deliver training for users in Production IT and traceability topics
► Contribute to project coordination and end-to-end technical implementation

Qualifications

► Degree in IT, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
► Fluent English skills for daily collaboration in an international environment
► Experience in Production IT or distributed systems (servers, databases)
► Experience with container technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
► Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
► Good communication and coordination skills
► Customer-oriented mindset with ownership

What gives you further advantages:
► Experience in manufacturing or production IT environments
► System administration experience (2+ years)
► Experience with container platforms and modern infrastructure technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher)
► Experience with Elastic Stack or similar observability/logging platforms
► Experience with database technologies (MS SQL, Oracle, MongoDB)
► Basic scripting knowledge in PowerShell or Python
► Experience with programmable logic controls
