Design and evolve scalable test frameworks, automation platforms, and validation pipelines for enterprise-grade networking.
Collaborate with engineering leaders, product management, hardware, and TAC teams to define quality goals, test scope, and execution strategies.
Mentor team members to enhance technical depth, architectural thinking, and quality leadership.
Represent the test organization in cross-functional forums to influence release decisions, risk assessment, and quality metrics.
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in CS or Equivalent or related degree with 11+ years in Layer 2/Layer 3 or SD-WAN product testing.
Strong testing experience in NAT, Firewall, QoS, BFD, NetFlow, and GRE /IPsec .
Hands-on expertise in IP and IPv6, ARP, DNS, DHCP, AAA, RADIUS, SNMP, EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP.
Experience with HA and redundancy protocols, PKI, certificate management, and Layer 2/Layer 3 security.
Good understanding of SD-WAN architecture and operations, including PNP, ZTP, and Day 0 or Day N workflows.
Strong Linux fundamentals with hands-on virtualization experience in KVM or ESXi.
Hands-on use of troubleshooting tools such as Ixia, Spirent, and Wireshark.
8+ years of experience in Network automation experience using Python and REST APIs.
Proficiency with Git for code and configuration version control.
Strong analytical, debugging, and end-to-end solution validation skills.
Clear verbal and written communication skills for complex technical topics.
Strong collaboration across engineering teams and mentoring skills.
Performance Debugging: Perform deep-dive analysis into performance bottlenecks at the kernel and hardware-abstraction layers including control plane and dataplane.
Modern Test Practices: Utilize modern Test workflows, including AI-assisted coding tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or Codex) and integrated development environments like VSCode, to accelerate the development lifecycle and improve code quality.
Experience with Cisco Viptela or Meraki, VMware VeloCloud, Fortinet, or Prisma SD-WAN.
Familiarity with SD-WAN integration across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Experience with CI or CD pipelines and network automation.
Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Exposure to AI-driven automation for network management and optimization.
CCIE,CCNP or equivalent certifications.
