About the Role
This is an early-stage, hands-on Business Development Representative role on a small and fast-growing go-to-market team at a post-seed AI SaaS company serving the wholesale distribution industry. You will own prospecting end-to-end, help shape how the company sells into an underserved market, and get direct exposure to company-building and cross-functional decision-making from day one.
What You'll Do
Own the prospecting pipeline from outreach to close via phone, email, and social media with wholesale decision-makers.
Test and optimize outbound and inbound lead generation, iterating quickly and cutting what does not work.
Become the internal expert on the product, the wholesale market, and customer needs in order to persuade rather than pitch.
Independently research B2B prospects and build sales materials and presentations that resonate.
Write and refine call scripts and communication templates, and share learnings through internal training sessions.
Identify and adopt AI tools to move faster and experiment with new sales approaches.
Take early ownership in shaping messaging, GTM strategy, and customer-facing processes.
What We're Looking For
Some initial hands-on experience in SaaS sales and outbound prospecting across phone, email, and social channels.
Ability to independently research B2B prospects and create compelling sales materials, presentations, scripts, and communication templates.
Strong customer-facing persuasion skills: you genuinely enjoy talking to customers and can reliably move conversations forward.
Tech-savvy with an interest in AI-enabled sales workflows and a willingness to experiment with new tools.
Goal-oriented, resilient, and comfortable building from scratch without a fixed playbook.
Fluent in both German and English, written and verbal.
Interest in or exposure to industrial and wholesale customers is a plus.
Location
On-site in Berlin, Germany. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
