Manufacturing Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing operations and production lines to achieve operational goals.

• Monitor and analyze manufacturing KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, efficiency and waste reduction.

• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process and production issues.

• Participate in line balancing, process optimization and standard work improvements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve safety, quality, delivery performance and operational efficiency.

• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation including work instructions and process standards.

• Support implementation of engineering and process changes.

• Participate in Kaizen events and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related field.

• Approximately 1 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing environments.

• Experience supporting production operations and manufacturing processes.

• Experience working with manufacturing KPIs and performance metrics.

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Experience using problem-solving tools such as:

  • PDCA

  • 5 Why Analysis

  • Root Cause Analysis

  • Fishbone / Ishikawa

• Understanding of line balancing, process flow and productivity improvement concepts.

• Advanced English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience participating in Kaizen events and process improvement projects.

• Exposure to safety, quality, productivity, delivery or cost-related metrics.

• Experience creating work instructions and process documentation.

• Knowledge of Power BI, Excel dashboards or data visualization tools.

• Exposure to manufacturing quality tools and structured problem-solving methodologies.

• Experience in medical, automotive, electronics, food or other structured manufacturing industries.
