What You Will Do
As a Design Engineer within our Fire Suppression Design Team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality fire suppression system designs across regional projects. The team is currently based in Sunbury and is expected to relocate to Weybridge next year.
To support your training, onboarding and development, this role will be office-based for the first six months. Following this period, hybrid working may be available, subject to performance and agreement with your Design Manager. You will also undertake occasional UK travel for site surveys, progress reviews, drawing mark-ups and client design meetings.

How You Will Do It
• Interpret and develop customer design requirements for fire suppression systems
• Produce accurate designs in line with project specifications, standards and customer requirements
• Ensure design schedules support approval, fabrication and construction deadlines
• Work closely with Sales and Contract Managers on specifications, installation requirements and bracketing solutions
• Complete Design Risk Assessments in accordance with company procedures
• Maintain clear and professional communication with customers and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project handover from sales through to project completion
• Attend site visits, client meetings and design reviews when required
What We Are Looking For
Required
• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience designing sprinkler and/or fire suppression systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and design requirements
• Strong communication, organisational and IT skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
Beneficial
• Experience using Revit 3D
• Knowledge of fire suppression industry standards and regulations
