The Pre-sales Engineer is key role directly reporting to Pre-sales Manager. will be a part of growing team and will be responsible for driving the growth of business for Oil & Gas Team. 
As a Pre-sales Engineer you may need to perform on-site data collection at customer facilities and support post-contract design review. You will be also focused on developing multiple components. You will be using strong customer relationship skills to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders (suppliers and vendors). 

How you will do it

You will be responsible for validating assumptions made during solution design, estimates, and scope of work for assigned projects in conjunction with operations. You will be also responsible for providing technical risk analysis for the complete solution. You will be part of transition meetings with Operations team to ensure project scope, objectives, timeline and customer requirements are taken care in proper manner. 
 
As a Pre-sales Engineer you may need to perform on-site data collection at customer facilities and support post-contract design review. You will be also focused on developing multiple components. You will be using strong customer relationship skills to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders (suppliers and vendors). 

What we look for Required  

  • Bachelor’s degree in telecommunication/Electronic/Electrical or similar field. 

  • More than 7 years’ experience in Physical Security systems (CCTV, ACS, Intrusion & Gate Security System ), Radio System (Tetra Radio, Digital Mobile Radio, Marine Radio and Microwave System), Networking System (Switches, DWDM, SDH and 5G system) , Safety Communication System (PAGA, Intercom and Telephone System) and Cybersecurity System. 

  • Aware of Telecom System Integrator (TSI) working philosophy. 

  • In depth technical knowledge of the ADNOC, Qatar Energy, Kuwait Oil Company and PDO standards. 

  • Experienced in validating the vendor quote technically and commercially and negotiation as per project need. 

  • Experienced in handling technical queries from clients and consultants. 

  • Experience in preparation of Techno Commercial Proposal including Technical write up, Bill of Qty and Concept Block Diagrams for Telecom & Security Systems. 

  • Result orientated, tenacious, self-motivated, a customer focused approach. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Proficient in business analysis. 

  • Excellent inter-personal skills - must be able to adapt working style to the personalities and work styles of our stakeholders and internal partners. 

  • Fluency in the English language is essential. 

  • Good analytical skills. 

  • OEM related product certification is good to have.
