Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Engineer - HVAC to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in commercial and industrial HVAC equipment and be capable of delivering quality service while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of HVAC systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF/VRV systems, package units, and other HVAC equipment.
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Attend service calls and provide timely resolution of customer complaints.
  • Prepare detailed service reports and maintenance records.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and industry regulations.
  • Coordinate with customers, contractors, and internal teams for project execution and service delivery.
  • Manage spare parts requirements and inventory for service activities.
  • Support warranty and annual maintenance contract (AMC) activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or related field.
  • Relevant HVAC certification is preferred.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and refrigeration principles.
  • Hands-on experience with VRF/VRV systems, chillers, cooling towers, AHUs, FCUs, and ducting systems.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Knowledge of HVAC controls and building management systems (BMS).
  • Strong troubleshooting and fault diagnosis skills.
  • Good communication and customer-handling abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and service documentation.
