Job Description
As a Process Control System Engineer, you will be primarily responsible for starting up, developing, and optimizing processes to enhance product quality and reliability. Your role includes improving process yield, reducing costs, increasing productivity, managing risks, and resolving manufacturing line issues. You will identify, diagnose, and resolve assembly process-related problems using methodologies such as failure analysis, FMEA, 8D, or SPC/FDC. Additional duties involve coordinating process, equipment, and material evaluations to implement process changes, leading and participating in yield improvement and cost reduction initiatives, managing new process baseline qualifications, and working with material suppliers to meet quality, cost, and risk management goals.
In this position, you will develop smart manufacturing solutions aligned with Industry 4.0 standards, gaining exposure to areas such as Machine Learning, Advanced Control Solutions, the Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT), and Deep Learning. You will have the opportunity to create comprehensive solutions, from requirements gathering and data analysis to system development, integration, and network-wide implementation. Your work will directly impact company performance by providing scrap/excursion control, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Advanced Process Control (APC or Run-to-Run), Fault Detection and Classification (FDC), and improved process capability. Collaboration with process teams to understand their tools, processes, and challenges is essential, as you will help develop process control models and strategies to ensure quality output.
