As a Principal Consultant for Proactive Services, you will be a key leader in assessing, challenging, and enhancing the security posture of a diverse client portfolio. You will serve as a strategic and technical advisor, guiding organizations through complex cybersecurity transformations. You will leverage a variety of advanced tools and methodologies to act as the client's advocate for cybersecurity best practices, providing strong, actionable recommendations to defend against sophisticated threats.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar field
8+ years of combined experience in identity, security architecture, or professional cybersecurity consulting.
Prior 2+ years of experience working with CyberArk products
Lead and deliver complex, client-facing proactive security engagements from scoping through to completion.
Prior consulting experience, with a proven track record of leading complex engagements for enterprise-tier clients.
Experience with Identity and Access Management solutions (SSO, MFA, SCIM, OAUTH, OIDC)
Devise strategic security transformation recommendations and solutions to assist customers in reducing risks
Assess enterprise architectures to expose hidden zones of implicit trust and high-risk lateral movement paths.
Analyze enterprise telemetry and policy logs to identify visibility gaps across identity, device, and network layers.
Demonstrated ability to assume sole and independent responsibilities
Manage the full lifecycle of client engagements, ensuring high-quality outcomes, stakeholder alignment, and customer satisfaction.
Lead client engagements, clearly articulating testing approaches, methodologies, and strategic blueprints to both technical and C-suite executive audiences.
Generate detailed, actionable reports that communicate identified risks, maturity gaps, and concrete remediation recommendations.
Proactively collaborate with internal teams and clients, exchanging information to ensure alignment and accomplish shared security objectives.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery methodologies, creating intellectual property, and sharing insights from client engagements.
Mentor and guide junior consultants, helping them grow their technical and leadership capabilities.
Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
