Location: Glenrothes / Livingston – flexible between both sites (On Site role)

Hours: 37 hours per week over 4 days (Mon-Thur)

Summary of Role:

The key responsibility of this role will be to carry out QC Inspection of hardware to ensure that product meets required standards and are compliant in all aspects.

Main Duties:

  • Performing sampling inspection to the required standards across all manufacturing areas and product lines.
  • Providing feedback and engaging with RCCA of non-conforming material.
  • Providing workmanship support to the Programme Quality Engineers & Manufacturing team
  • First point of contact on any workmanship issues.
  • Engagement with key stakeholders within the organisation.
  • Attending team meetings
  • Flexibility between Glenrothes & Livingston sites may be required.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Candidates shall have the ability to manage their workload while retaining a methodical approach and good housekeeping practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to make knowledge-based decisions to Industry Standards.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, use metrology & inspection equipment.
  • Team player who has the ability to communicate with other functions within Raytheon as required.
  • Candidates should be motivated and willing to develop within the role.
  • Good planner and organiser of work – ability to work under own initiative with minimum guidance.
  • Ability to work to timescales and meet commitments with flexibility to change priorities when needed.
  • Microsoft Office Skills: Excel, Word.
  • Communication skills

Desired Skills:

  • Training to, and a good working knowledge of, Industry Standards J-Std-001, IPC-A-610 & IPC-A-620.
  • Familiarity with the requirements of AS9100 & AS9102 would be advantageous
  • Experience in the use of SAP systems
