We're looking for a strategic, culturally plugged-in Social Media Manager to join Spotify's Social team in New York. This role will serve as a campaign lead across @ThisIsSpotify social channels, platform strategy, and drive corporate social communications, ensuring Spotify shows up with a consistent, bold voice across every channel and moment.
You'll partner with cross functional teams to take campaigns from brief to execution - working across creative, marketing, editorial, and agency partners to deliver best-in-class social content. You'll lead the reimagination of priority channels: diagnosing where our current strategy opportunities are, defining each account's core purpose on its platform, and building the content plan to get there. You'll also serve as the social lead for corporate communications, translating company news into content that resonates with our audiences. This breakdown of this role is 50% campaign, 30% platform strategy, and 20% corporate social comms.
The ideal candidate has led social campaigns end-to-end, has a sharp instinct for what works on each platform, and can move fluidly between managing a campaign war room and crafting a corporate comms post. You're immersed in culture, you understand how Gen Z and millennial audiences consume content, and you bring both creative ambition and operational rigor.
