The original Action News is looking for a Meteorologist to help lead our weather coverage into the future. We're seeking a dynamic communicator who is passionate about weather, excels at storytelling, and can deliver impactful forecasts across broadcast, streaming, digital, and social platforms.

The ideal candidate is a trusted journalist and team player who can translate complex weather information into clear, compelling content while prioritizing public safety during severe weather events. This person thrives in fast-paced environments, works collaboratively across the newsroom, and can confidently lead coverage in both the studio and the field.

Required Education

The hiring range for this position in Philadelphia is $140,000 to $160,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
