Position Summary
As a Formulation Manufacturing Supervisor, you will lead daily manufacturing operations in a sterile production environment, ensuring compliance with GMP, safety, quality, and production targets. You will be responsible for supervising and developing a team of approximately 50 employees, coordinating formulation activities, optimizing production performance, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products. Working cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain, you will drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and a strong culture of safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily sterile manufacturing activities in compliance with GMP and company procedures.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 50 operators and technicians.
- Ensure production schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements are achieved.
- Monitor and improve operational KPIs (Safety, Quality, Delivery, OEE, Yield).
- Support investigations, deviations, CAPA, and change controls.
- Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to ensure efficient operations.
- Drive continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Previous experience managing large production teams (40–60 employees).
- Strong knowledge of GMP, aseptic processing, and sterile manufacturing operations.
- Proven leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Good command of English.
