In Thermo Fisher Scientific Brno, we develop and produce high-tech electron microscopes and spectrometers. At the Sample Prep and Analysis (SPA) group, we develop and maintain software solutions that automate the operation of Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEMs). Our technology enables customers in the semiconductor industry to identify manufacturing defects, accelerate research, and improve the reliability, performance, and energy efficiency of next-generation semiconductor devices.
What will you be working on?
We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our development team and help ensure the quality and reliability of software used to automate and optimize the operation of Electron Microscopes.
In this role, you will work closely with software engineers, product owners, system architects, and domain experts to verify new functionality, design and execute test scenarios, automate testing activities, and help identify quality risks early in the development process. As an integral member of an Agile team, you will contribute to delivering robust software solutions that control highly sophisticated scientific instruments with nanometer precision.

Your work will directly contribute to solutions used by leading semiconductor manufacturers to develop and produce the world’s most advanced chips and memory technologies.
