What you'll do:

Design construction plans, contract documents, quantity takeoffs, and opinions of probable construction cost for stormwater capital-improvement projects
Perform hydrologic, hydraulic, and water-quality analyses for open-channel and closed-conduit stormwater systems
Design site-specific best management practices, including conventional, low-impact-development, and stormwater volume-control solutions
Prepare permit applications and supporting documentation for regulatory approval
Develop one- and two-dimensional hydrologic and hydraulic models, FEMA CLOMR/LOMR applications, technical exhibits, and drainage reports
Apply Autodesk Civil 3D and water-resources modeling software to prepare and refine designs
Coordinate with clients, project managers, regulatory agencies, and multidisciplinary teams throughout project delivery
Manage project tasks to meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations

What you bring:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Biosystems Engineering
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain (PE path strongly preferred)
3–5 years of experience in water resources engineering, including hydrologic and hydraulic design and analysis
Strong understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic principles, stormwater design, and water-quality analysis
Working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D
Experience with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, ICPR, XPSWMM, and ArcGIS preferred
Experience with two-dimensional hydraulic modeling is a plus
Strong written, verbal, presentation, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines
Client-service mindset and ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

On-site: Monday–Thursday 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; Friday 7:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m.
