Role Summary and Impact
WPP Media Hong Kong is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Associate, Social and Content to join our vibrant team. Reporting to the Associate Vice President, Social and Content Marketing, you will bridge the gap between local audience engagement and cross-border/China social strategies, including platforms such as Xiaohongshu, Douyin, WeChat, Meta, Threads, and YouTube. You will play a crucial role in bringing brand stories to life, managing end-to-end campaign operations, fostering creator partnerships, and driving measurable impact for our diverse client portfolio.
Core Responsibilities:
Strategy & Execution: Drive campaign ideation, recommendations, execution, and troubleshooting for both local and China-focused social media campaigns across WPP Media. Plan and execute integrated social and content strategies, act as a trusted advisor on end-to-end social solutions, and lead test-and-learn initiatives to elevate overall team capabilities.
Account & Stakeholder Management: Independently manage day-to-day account servicing duties, including overseeing project timelines and confidently managing client and internal stakeholder expectations across the entirety of the campaign lifecycle.
Influencer & Publisher Management: Identify, outreach, negotiate with, and manage relationships with local creators, cross-border Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and media publishers, ensuring thorough oversight of content creation.
Campaign Operations: Take ownership of day-to-day operational workflows. Manage campaign trafficking, booking system entries, schedule revisions, and active campaign monitoring, ensuring accuracy within internal systems and alignment with client business objectives.
Reporting & Analytics: Compile and present clear, data-driven campaign performance reports and customized post-buy evaluations. Analyze complex performance data to extract actionable insights and optimize future content and influencer strategies.
Partnership Development: Assist in building and maintaining strong relationships with platform partners, media vendors, and Multi-Channel Networks (MCNs) relevant to both local and China ecosystems.
Market Intelligence & Knowledge Sharing: Monitor and share market trends, platform algorithm updates, and emerging China/local digital behaviors with the wider WPP Media local team. Maintain a firm understanding of content formats, local and China platform management tools, and creator ecosystem best practices.
